When the mother of my twins told me we had lost our second twin to suicide, my world collapsed. As a father and psychologist, I believed that our two families had done their best to support our twins. When I lost them both quickly, I was filled with massive guilt and slipped into a darkness that scared me on an existential level. I realized that I could not stay in it for long.

See how I decided to be open in our community about the loss of our twins to suicide. This allowed me to manage the expectations of people and help them feel more comfortable to support. Learn how I, as a man, challenged my narrative of societal roles and how this helped me increase my emotional expressions. This allowed me to accept the tragic losses and free myself of guilt to move forward with my life. I decided to use my experiences to spread awareness and potentially help others open up.
