The resistance against my work as a woman caused plenty of sacrifices like losing my father. Growing up I had always felt empowered and dedicated to lead the way for women behind me. Once my career grew the push-back from opposing forces grew with it until my and my loved ones' lives were in constant danger. In my toughest moments feeling my responsibilities and sacrifices weighing down on me I felt alone and frustrated.

See how I turned my despair into motivation to carry on my work for positive change in my country. Learn how I found new easy to create change after having to feel in exile. To process my experiences better I started sharing my emotions with my partner, and I joined a empowering community of activists.
