Anxiety, Loneliness, Identity

I unexpectedly lost my father whom I recognized so much of myself in. This took me from being a driven A-level student from a humble background to being lost. I tried my best to support my now-widowed mom, but I felt increasingly different, distant, and lonely while suppressed anger started building up. Despite regaining my academic and surface excellence that led to me becoming a young judge, I realized that society and my mother's expected path were unsuitable.

See how my frustration over high levels of corruption gave me a new direction where I could combine my academic background and experience with my passion for social change. Learn how this new path led me to a common cause that helped me reconnect with my mother and move beyond loneliness. This helped me realize that I had suppressed emotions within me that I needed to share and face to become a better mother, wife, friend, colleague, and person.
