Identity, Freedom, Self image

I felt others had the right to hurt me and that it was my duty not to get hurt. Growing up in a discriminatory society where women were constrained and managed through fear devoured my self-worth. I started subtracting and developed social anxiety. Eventually, I felt powerless and worthless to the point where I did not see any meaning in life.

See how I started challenging the narrative of life in fear and started empowering myself. I started studying psychology, and through my school, I found professional help. Learn how a friend pushed me past my environment's stigma against mental health to use the help. By opening up and being fully listened to, I managed to unpack the consequences of my discriminatory environment. I slowly challenged myself and regained my self-worth to the point where I started speaking out for women in my community and grew into the woman I am today.
