I suddenly lost everything, my marriage, family, job and self respect, after my addiction slowly had ruined my “perfect life”. I grew more and more bitter and slipped into feeling like a victim, to the point where I did not see any solutions. After getting back on my feet I had another breakdown. This time I felt like a complete failure at life, only existing alone and in hopelessness to the point where I did not want to live.

Hear how I finally realized that I had to face my own demons, instead of trying to run away from it through work or drugs. Learn how I found acceptance from others in a peer support group, and how I faced my own shame together with others. After I managed to turn my life around I found a passion in using my experiences to support others.
