Grief, Work, Financial struggles

In a moment of despair in life, I suddenly got divorced and moved out of the country. I went on another emotional roller coaster ride as I lost both my father and mother in a short time span. Growing up, our home was constantly turbulent, especially due to my family's financial struggles, to the point where it got abusive. I felt like a passenger on a roller coaster, and while I, deep inside, wanted to be in the limelight, my inner feeling of not being good enough kept me down. Fast forward to my adult years, I managed to build a family and a life for myself, but my emotional highs and lows continued to the extreme until I was diagnosed as bipolar.

See how getting the bipolar diagnosis, followed by professional help, allowed me to understand myself better and start facing my emotional baggage. I dared to face up to the mistake of my divorce and get back together with my wife to rebuild our lives. With her support, combined with peer support from a national organization, I stabilized my life to the point where I decided to use my experiences to start helping others.
