Suggested Lived Experiences
After years of bullying and racism, I saw in myself a very ugly person, and my self-worth was long fading. Growing up, I felt strange and different as I was more expressive, creative and enjoyed different things than my peers. My loneliness grew when I moved out to study, and for every mask I put on, I suppressed my emotions a bit deeper. After finding a safe haven to express myself through my music, I met a new low when my first album did not go well. Eventually, my loneliness grew into a deep depression where I isolated myself to the point where I felt I did not have a place in this world.
See how I got to express myself through my music, which I did not manage to express in real life. Experiencing how people connected to my music allowed me to reconnect with my emotions and grow my self-worth. Learn how exploring my own past brought even more depth to my inner journey and how I brought that back into the world through my music. I found a community of like-minded people through the arts, and once my career started gaining speed, I felt I had found my true passion and place in this world.
