Loss (grief), Neglect, Loneliness

For almost 33 years, I lived with the knowledge that my terminally ill daughter would likely die before me. Carrying this burden became extremely consuming, and protecting her was my only priority. For a long period, I had neglected the needs of myself and the rest of my family.

See how I realized that I needed to let my daughter live a full life for me to have space for mine. Learn how I shared my burden with those I trusted, giving me the time I needed for myself and my family's needs. Finally, I allowed more people to help me.
