My husband and I were living our best lives when we were expecting a child to make it perfect. Our child was #brimi, a child with special needs and I felt devastated as I felt robbed of all the normal experiences as a mother. I closed up and put on a mask to hide this shame from society and my community.

Hear how I found a peer support group for mothers of children with special needs, and how this helped me transform my relationship with my daughter. Learn how I opened up about my suppressed feelings to my partner and started asking for help. This allowed me to get to know my beautiful daughter.
