My family came to the U.K. when I was a child and I remember feeling unwanted from the start. Facing racism and gender discrimination fueled me to work even harder. When I became a young single mother, life’s hardships started getting to me and I felt lonely and tired.

See how I found tremendous support in my family and especially my mother to stand tall through it. I used my support and fearlessness to face my challenges head on despite the obstacles. See how it led me to start a radio station, magazine and PR company supporting black artists. Today I continue focusing on equality in all aspects in the U.K. and globally.
