When I was young my family and I were forced to flee our home country and become refugees. The five year journey as refugees completely ripped our world apart. When we finally arrived in Norway, another chapter began; I was constantly bullied by my peers. I felt different and alone in my new home.

Hear the struggles of having to catch up to my new classmates while simultaneously learning a new language and adapting to a new culture. Learn how my love for learning and school helped me to endure through the hardships and create a new life for myself.
