As a teenager I underwent surgery for my scoliosis. My family was loving and supportive yet I still felt left out as I saw my peers continue to live their lives. Years later after moving to Norway with my husband and starting a new life I got sick again. Being sick with an invisible disease made me feel judged by those around me. I was overcome by frustration and felt alone in the depths and darkness of my own mind. Learn how I only needed to be reminded that life had changed since my childhood in Chile and that my suffering wasn’t linked to my new life.
