I was sitting on my couch crying because I was not feeling at home anymore. Growing up, I used to watch romantic movies, imagining the beauty of love, marriage, and having a family. Once I was married, I felt we didn't support each other, and slowly, it felt like we hated each other. It got worse when we had a child, so I couldn't do it anymore, regardless of the stigma of getting a divorce.

See how I managed to see beyond the “blame game” after the separation and sit down with him to focus on what we could do for our child. Learn how this helped me to move beyond my suppressed anger and frustration over my lost life. Eventually, we supported each other more than during our marriage, which allowed me to create space for a new life for myself.
