The shame and frustration of being homeless almost destroyed me and my family. We were evicted after 20 years in our home, and suddenly our life was turned upside down. We found ourselves at the bottom of the wealth divide and my mother and I struggled to make ends meet for us and my little brother. I started feeling cheap inside and slowly it was taken over by an overwhelming feeling of worthlessness.

See how I found the motivation to move beyond the shame and trust the entrepreneur in me. Learn how I felt at home and empowered by being surrounded by other entrepreneurs and how this gave me the hope I needed to create. Eventually, my hard work paid off with the support of my family and I managed to pull us out of poverty through my new business.
