After years of addiction, I ended up being paralyzed on my right side from an infection called Necrotizing fasciitis. In my youth, I sought alcohol to try to fit in and feel accepted but ended up chasing that high in the world of drugs to escape my feelings of low self-worth. See how losing a close friend helped me find my motivation to move beyond my addiction by seeking help.
