I grew up in two separate households. One was very strict, with the main focus on my younger brother, and the other was used to sell drugs, leaving me mostly to tend to myself. In school, I was quickly labeled as the kid of the local drug dealer and soon labeled the kid that will end up like his dad. I grew lonely and started isolating myself to the point where I suppressed all my emotions to survive.

Hear how I moved away to start over, but my past haunted me to the point where I decided to take the driver's seat in my own life. See how finding a peer support program helped me realize that I was not alone and that I could decide how my life would turn out. Learn how this helped me build a career and start nurturing my mind and body to slowly heal my trauma.
