I grew up in a home filled with neglect and intoxication that made me feel insecure and not seen. For years I felt I had to take responsibility for my siblings, and in doing so I completely lost my self. I tried reaching out for help from the systems around me, but nothing happened, and I lost all hope.

Hear how I moved out to start the process of prioritizing myself for the first time in my life. Learn how I faced ups and downs the following years and eventually burnt out. Once I opened up about my past, I ended up getting a job in the child protection services. Now I use my own experiences as competence to become what I felt I missed in my own life.
