Growing up alone with my father, I never felt I was good enough. In my search for approval I began experimenting with drugs that slowly consumed my entire life. When I finally managed to turn my life around, an accident put me in the hospital with severe pain and I became addicted to pain killers. Eventually my addiction escalated to heroine and I became homeless, loosing any will to continue living.

See how I found the strength to finally get clean, and how one person reminded me that I still had value, fueling my overall recovery. Now I use my past trials and tribulations to help others around me.
